Press the ENT Key again or use the large FMS Knob to move the cursor to
enter the next message.
Deleting a Scheduler Message
1)
Select the AUX - Utility Page.
2)
Press the FMS Knob momentarily to activate the flashing cursor.
3)
Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight the name field of the scheduler
message to be deleted.
4)
Press the CLR Key to clear the message text. If the CLR Key is pressed
again, the message is restored.
5)
Press the ENT Key while the message line is cleared to clear the message
text.
Scheduler messages appear in the Messages Window on the PFD. When a scheduler
message is waiting, the MSG Softkey label flashes. Selecting the MSG Softkey opens
the Messages Window and acknowledges the scheduler message. Selecting the MSG
Softkey again removes the Messages Window from the display, and the scheduler
message is deleted from the message queue.
PILOT PROFILES
When the system is powered on, the last selected pilot profile is shown on the MFD
power-up screen. The system can store up to 25 profiles; the currently active profile,
the amount of memory used, and the amount of memory available are shown at the
top of the AUX - System Setup Page in the box labeled ‘Pilot Profile’.
Creating a Profile
1)
Use the FMS Knob to select the AUX - System Setup Page.
2)
Press the FMS Knob momentarily to activate the flashing cursor.
3)
Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight ‘CREATE’ in the Pilot Profile Box.
4)
Press the ENT Key. A ‘Create Profile’ window is displayed.
5)
Use the FMS Knob to enter a profile name up to 16 characters long and
press the ENT Key. Pilot profile names cannot begin with a blank as the
first letter.
