DA40F ENGINE DISPLAY
Pressing the ENGINE Softkey displays the EIS-ENGINE Page.
Fuel used (GALLONS USED), endurance, and range (RANGE NM) are all calculat-
ed based on the last manual adjustment of the fuel remaining (GALLONS REMAIN).
Measured fuel quantity has no effect on fuel calculations. Fuel calculations are
based on sensed fuel flow and the last manual adjustment of the fuel remaining.
The following softkeys allow for adjustment of the remaining fuel quantity.
- DEC FUEL – Allows the pilot to decrease the gallons of fuel remaining
(GALLONS REMAIN) in 1-gallon increments
- INC FUEL – Allows the pilot to increase the gallons of fuel remaining in 1-
gallon increments
- RST FUEL – Resets the fuel remaining to 40 gallons.
